Pure Body Health offers physician-led primary care and naturopathic medicine, with our services organized into five areas for easy browsing: our root-cause approach, pain and orthobiologics, health optimization (including gut and GI health), natural medical aesthetics, and men's and women's health.

Every plan starts with a detailed history and, where useful, targeted labs, so treatment is matched to what's actually going on. Many patients use more than one service, and the same two physicians coordinate all of it. We treat far more than what's listed here, and gut and GI health is one of the most common reasons patients come in. Individual results vary.

▶Why Pure Body Health

Why patients choose Pure Body Health.

Labs before prescriptions.

Testing guides the plan, so treatment is matched to what's actually going on rather than a standard protocol.

Physicians, not an app.

Two licensed naturopathic physicians see you in person in South Tempe and follow your plan over time.

Primary care and beyond.

We can serve as your primary care practice, and when you need a specialist or emergency care, we'll guide you there and coordinate it.

One clinic for the whole picture.

Pain, hormones, gut, weight, aesthetics and more under one roof, so nothing gets treated in isolation.

Good to know

Our physicians provide primary and specialty care, but we're not an urgent care or emergency facility. If you're experiencing a medical emergency, call 911. Some therapies, such as peptides, compounded medications and PRP-based treatments, may be used off-label or aren't FDA-approved for every use; your physician explains the options, risks and alternatives before you decide. Individual results vary, and nothing on this page is a diagnosis or a guarantee of results.

▶FAQ

Our services, answered.

What services does Pure Body Health offer?

Pure Body Health offers physician-led primary care and naturopathic medicine. On this page, services are grouped into five areas: our root-cause approach (naturopathic, functional and environmental medicine), pain and orthobiologics, health optimization, natural medical aesthetics, and men's and women's health. We treat far more than these categories, and gut and GI health is one of the most common reasons patients come in. Each service has its own page covering candidacy, what to expect and cost.

How do I know which service is right for me?

You don't have to choose before you come in. A consultation with a licensed naturopathic physician covers your symptoms, history and goals, and your physician recommends which labs are worth running and where a plan should start.

Can I combine more than one service?

Yes, and many plans do. Hormones, gut health, weight, sleep and pain often affect one another, so your physician may coordinate two or three services in one plan and sequence them so each step supports the next.

Who provides care at Pure Body Health?

Care is provided by two licensed naturopathic medical doctors: Dr. Scott Maymon, ND, MPH (AZ License #15-1497) and Dr. Sarah Stone, ND (AZ License #15-1496). Both earned their doctorates at the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine (now Sonoran University) in Tempe, and both have cared for Valley patients since 2015.

Can Pure Body Health be my primary care provider?

Yes. If you've been left with unanswered questions, rushed appointments, or a treatment plan that doesn't feel personalized, you're not alone. Many patients choose Pure Body Health as their primary medical practice because our physicians take the time to understand your complete health story, identify contributing factors, and build an individualized plan around your long-term goals. When specialty or emergency care is needed, we'll guide you to the right level of care and coordinate it.

Do you take insurance, and can I use HSA or FSA funds?

We don't bill insurance directly for visits, but many insurers cover lab work, and we can provide a service summary for possible reimbursement. Naturopathic visits and many services are commonly eligible for HSA and FSA funds; check with your plan administrator.

Do you treat both men and women?

Yes. Most services are open to everyone, and we also offer dedicated men's and women's health care, including hormone therapy, sexual wellness, ED treatment, PRP-based sexual wellness treatments (often searched as the P-Shot® and O-Shot®) and vaginal rejuvenation.

Where is the clinic, and which areas do you serve?

Our clinic is at 1553 W Todd Drive, Suite 106, in South Tempe, just off I-10 at Elliot Road. Ahwatukee is about 12 minutes away and Chandler about 20, and patients also come from Mesa, Gilbert, Phoenix and Scottsdale.
