Filler-freeyour own collagen, nothing synthetic

5.0 star rating302 Google reviews, clinic + doctors

Pure Body Health offers physician-led, filler-free medical aesthetics in South Tempe, AZ: treatments that work with your own collagen, platelets and skin rather than adding synthetic material. The menu covers microneedling, Scarlet RF microneedling for tightening, PRP facials, hair loss treatments, the AquaFirme XS medical facial and non-surgical body contouring. Care is overseen by licensed naturopathic physicians Dr. Scott Maymon, ND, MPH and Dr. Sarah Stone, ND.

Collagen-building results are gradual. They build over roughly three to six months rather than showing up the same day, and most people do best with a short series or a combination of treatments. A provider determines candidacy at a free consultation, and individual results vary.

▶Our approach

What medical aesthetics means at a naturopathic clinic.

It means the treatments you'd expect from a good aesthetic practice, overseen by physicians who also look at what's happening underneath your skin.

Skin is often a readout of the rest of the body. Hormone shifts in perimenopause, gut and nutrient issues, poor sleep and chronic stress can all show up as dullness, dryness, breakouts or thinning hair. Because our physicians practice functional medicine, a plan can address both sides: the treatment on the surface and, where it helps, the contributors underneath.

That might mean pairing microneedling with a look at your hormone health, or checking iron and thyroid before starting hair loss care. It's the same aesthetic menu, with a wider lens.

▶Not sure where to start?

Start with a consultation.

Bring your questions and a list of what bothers you most. A provider will look at your skin, talk through what's realistic and suggest a sequence that fits your goals and budget.

▶Choosing a treatment

How to choose between them.

Start with the concern, not the device. Most people have two or three concerns at once, which is why plans usually combine treatments.

Main concernWhere most people startHow change shows upTypical plan
Texture, fine lines, acne scarsMicroneedlingGradually, over 3 to 6 monthsA series of sessions
Loose or crepey skinScarlet RF MicroneedlingGradually, as collagen remodelsA short series
Dullness, hollowing, tired lookPRP facialGradually, over several monthsA series, then maintenance
Thinning hairHair loss treatmentsSlowly, over monthsWorkup, then a series
Dryness and congestionAquaFirme XS facialOften right awaySingle visits or a routine
Stubborn inchesBody contouringOver a multi-week programA structured course

Timelines are typical ranges, not promises. Your provider will give you a realistic estimate for your skin at the consultation.

▶Filler-free

Why filler-free is a real difference.

Filler adds volume the day you get it. Collagen-building treatments help your skin build its own structure over months. We don't offer dermal filler or neurotoxins, so every option here works with your own tissue rather than adding synthetic material.

The trade-off is time. Results are gradual and subtler, and they rarely match the instant change of filler. Many patients prefer that: the result tends to look like their own skin, just healthier, and there's no synthetic product to maintain.

If what you want is an immediate change in volume, a filler practice is the better fit, and we'll tell you so. If you'd rather build gradually and naturally, this is the approach we're built around.

▶Local skin

Skin ages differently in the Valley.

Arizona skin gets a lot of sun and very little humidity, which is why texture, dryness and early laxity lead the list of concerns we see in South Tempe.

The UV index here runs high for much of the year, and it's easy to rack up sun on a round of golf, a morning hike at South Mountain or Kiwanis Park, or a weekend at Tempe Town Lake. Over time, that exposure breaks down collagen and elastin. The dry desert air adds dehydration on top.

That's why collagen-building treatments like microneedling and Scarlet RF, paired with hydration-focused care like the AquaFirme XS facial, suit Valley skin well. Daily sunscreen and a simple home routine matter just as much, and your provider will cover both.

Good to know

Results vary from person to person, and most treatments work best as a series. PRP is prepared from your own blood using FDA-cleared preparation systems; using PRP for facial and scalp rejuvenation is considered off-label, a common and lawful part of medical practice. These treatments aren't a substitute for surgical correction when surgery is the right answer, and a provider determines candidacy at your consultation. This page is educational and isn't medical advice.

Why patients choose us for aesthetics.

Physician oversight.

Two licensed naturopathic physicians oversee care, review your history and make sure a treatment fits your health.

No filler to upsell.

Every option works with your own collagen, platelets or skin, so there's no synthetic product in the plan.

We can look at the cause.

When skin or hair changes have an internal driver, we can test and treat it alongside the aesthetic plan.

Straight answers on fit.

If a treatment isn't right for your goals, you'll hear that at the consultation, along with what would be.

▶Cost & consultation

What aesthetic treatments cost in South Tempe.

Cost depends on the treatment, how many sessions you need and whether you combine options, so a single number would mislead. At your free consultation you'll get a plan with clear pricing before anything is scheduled.

▶FAQ

Medical aesthetics, answered.

What's the difference between a med spa and medical aesthetics at a physician-led clinic?

Both offer aesthetic treatments. At Pure Body Health, care is overseen by licensed naturopathic physicians who review your health history, medications and skin before treatment, and who can look at internal contributors like hormones or nutrition when they affect your skin or hair.

Do you offer Botox or dermal fillers?

No. Our aesthetic care is filler-free. We focus on treatments that work with your own collagen, platelets and skin, such as microneedling, Scarlet RF, PRP facials and the AquaFirme XS facial. If an immediate change in volume is your priority, a filler practice may be a better fit.

Which aesthetic treatment should I start with?

It depends on your main concern. Texture and fine lines often start with microneedling, loose or crepey skin with Scarlet RF, dullness or hollowing with a PRP facial, and dryness with the AquaFirme XS facial. A provider will recommend a starting point and sequence at your consultation.

How long do results take, and how long do they last?

Collagen-building treatments show gradual change, usually over three to six months, and results depend on your skin, age, sun exposure and how many sessions you have. Many people keep results with periodic maintenance. Individual results vary.

Is there downtime?

It varies. The AquaFirme XS facial has no downtime. Microneedling and Scarlet RF often cause redness for a day or two. PRP facials can cause mild swelling or bruising. Your provider will go over what to expect for your treatment.

How much do aesthetic treatments cost in Tempe?

Pricing depends on the treatment, the number of sessions and whether you combine options. You'll receive a plan with clear pricing at your free consultation, before anything is scheduled.

Can I combine treatments?

Yes, and many plans do. Treatments are often sequenced, for example microneedling for texture with PRP, or Scarlet RF for tightening followed by hydrating facials. Your provider will space them safely.

Is it safe to be in the Arizona sun after treatment?

Skin is more sensitive after microneedling, RF and PRP treatments, so we recommend avoiding direct sun for several days and using a broad-spectrum sunscreen daily. You'll get aftercare instructions suited to Arizona sun and dry air.

Do you see patients from Chandler, Ahwatukee, Gilbert and Mesa?
